Chris is a state licensed Certified General Contractor (CGC1522446) and LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). Chris received his B.S. in Business Management and Masters of Business Administration from Western Kentucky University. With nearly 20 years of construction experience including commercial and residential in excess of over $100M completed projects, Chris brings an inclusive and innovative structure to residential building. Chris is married to Melissa Barnes and a proud parent of Griffin, Harper, & Gray. Chris enjoys overseeing and visiting each of our construction sites, insuring that budgets, timelines, and the level of craftsmanship meet our high standards.
Melissa is a licensed Real Estate Broker Associate and member of the National Association of Realtors. She is accredited as a Pricing Strategy Advisor and loves that her job is also her hobby. She has worked in Real Estate in central Florida for over a decade and has received the Silver Top Producer award from the Orlando Realtor Association in the $5-10 million category. She enjoys working with Verge’s clients for lot acquisition as well as home sales. She can also be found assisting with some of the behind the scenes work at the Verge office. Melissa graduated from Bethel University in St. Paul Minnesota with a degree in Business and Human Resources. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her husband and three children.
